Tyreek Hill, a free-agent wide receiver, is unlikely to join an NFL team before the start of the 2026 regular season, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. This statement was made on Friday, indicating a significant timeline for Hill’s potential signing in the league.
Drew Rosenhaus appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and said Hill is making progress but is not ready to return. “I don’t expect Tyreek to sign before the season,” Rosenhaus said on Friday. I said to him, ‘you look great’ and he said to me, ‘I still have some work to do. I’m not ready yet.'” Rosenhaus said he is not putting pressure on Hill or setting a deadline for his return. “I think what I have said to Tyreek is take your time,” Rosenhaus added.
“It’s not when you come back, it’s how you come back. We want you to come back when you feel your best. There’s no sense of urgency timing-wise, I think this is a future Hall of Famer who still has a lot of good football left in him. This was a devastating injury, but everyone’s gonna be so impressed when they see how well Tyreek is rehabbing.”

“It’s not hyperbole for me to predict that he will play this season, when I’m not sure,” Rosenhaus said.
