During WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” at BP Pulse Live in Birmingham, England, Lynch, 38, made headlines by referencing the Black Sabbath lead vocalist when Nikki Bella challenged her to a fight in the ring.

Lynch responded firmly, “I am not wrestling in Birmingham. The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago.”

As the audience reacted, she added, “But to be fair to Ozzy Osbourne, he wisely moved to LA, a real city. If I were stuck in Birmingham, I’d feel the same way.”

Following her comments, Kelly expressed her outrage on Instagram, calling Lynch “a disrespectful dirtbag” and stating, “Birmingham would not piss on you if you were on fire. #birminghamforever,” although she mistakenly tagged one of Lynch’s fan sites instead of her own.

She further criticized WWE for allowing such remarks about her father and his hometown, saying, “Shame on the @wwe for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!!”

Lynch’s joke sparked significant backlash, with comments pouring in on social media. One viewer on YouTube remarked, “Bro, Becky did not just say that,” while another commented, “That one about Ozzy Osbourne came from a place of pure hatred.” A third fan expressed, “As a devoted Ozzy fan, my perspective on Becky Lynch has changed forever,” and another added, “Nah… You shouldn’t have mentioned Ozzy like that… incredibly disrespectful…”
