The Missing Tail Introduces Cooperative Gameplay Model
Estoty has announced that its upcoming game, The Missing Tail, will feature a unique ‘one copy for two players’ model. This allows two players to enjoy the game together without requiring separate purchases. This innovative approach marks a significant shift for the studio as it transitions from its previous focus on hyper-casual mobile games.
The game centers on two cats from contrasting backgrounds: a royal cat and a stray. Players will need to collaborate and leverage each cat’s distinct abilities to solve puzzles and progress through a medieval world filled with castles and villages.
Currently, The Missing Tail has a Steam page available for adding to wishlists, and the developer is also inviting players to sign up for playtests via its official website. A specific release date has yet to be confirmed.
Its previous titles include Knife Hit, Johnny Trigger, 2048 and Jelly Shift. The studio’s mobile games have collectively crossed more than 1.5 billion downloads, according to industry reports.
