Indiana Fever guard Erica Cunningham has stirred conversation once again, this time regarding the culture within WNBA locker rooms. In a recent clip from her appearance on the “Like a Farmer Podcast,” Cunningham candidly compared the environments of the WNBA and the NBA.
She stated, “I think what people don’t understand is like, the WNBA is so inappropriate. What they (the NBA players) do and what they talk about and all that doesn’t even come close to how, like, how I don’t know, like, we’re wild. We say some crazy, crazy stuff, and just like, we’re just a fun time over in the W.”
Cunningham’s remarks come on the heels of previous comments where she advocated for the exclusion of “biological men” from women’s sports, igniting a broader debate within the WNBA and the sports community at large.
