As reported by ESPN, Goltes filed a petition in March with the Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking child support and attorney fees from the NBA superstar. The case is linked to an upcoming hearing scheduled for August 14, although Goltes was required to submit a responsive pleading by Monday, as indicated by ESPN.
Documents reviewed by TMZ reveal that Goltes requested the court to dismiss her petition without prejudice, stating her intention to resolve the matter amicably for the benefit of their children.
However, the court did not grant this request as the dismissal was incomplete due to the absence of Doncic’s signature.
Goltes and Doncic are parents to two daughters: Gabriela, aged 2, and Olivia, who is 7 months old. While Goltes filed the petition in California, she and the children are currently living in Slovenia.
ESPN also noted that Doncic sought an interim injunction in February from Slovenian courts, aiming for immediate access to his daughters while addressing joint custody and child support issues. Custody proceedings continue to unfold within the Slovenian legal system.
